Is it worth it? The honest answer depends heavily on your home, your comfort priorities, and Denver’s specific climate conditions.

The Denver humidity caveat: Because Denver air is already dry, the humidity-control benefit of two-stage AC — often the biggest selling point in humid climates — is less impactful here. The energy savings and comfort consistency are still real, but humidity control alone doesn’t justify the premium in Denver.
